• What does the Sitting Fee include?  The $190 Sitting Fee covers:  Hair and make-up services for up to two people, the Studio/Session time, consultation of clothing and style ideas, editing and presentation of final images.

  • How can I book my session?  Complete and submit the Client Form on the Contact Information page so we can set up a time to talk.  You can Phone or Text me at 919-455-1764 or email me at elaine@windmillphotography.net.

  • When can I expect to view my images?  We will work together to set up your in-person viewing appointment at the end of your Session. I aim to have the viewing within two weeks!

  • Interest Free Payment Plans are available.  You have the option to make up to three equal, monthly payments towards purchase of your desired package.  An invoice will be emailed to you each month.  No products or photos will be given until the final payment is made.

  • What should I wear?  I will work closely with you on this during the pre-consultation.  Think in Color tones such as Rose, Gold, Beige, Navys.  I like to suggest starting by picking 2 main colors as your base and then perhaps adding one accent "pop" of color with with an accessory of sorts such as scarves or jewelry.  Variations of primary colors can be a great place to start.  For example:  yellow (mustard), red (maroon), blue (navy).  Prints, layers, patterns add DIMENSION and texture and can also can add a bit of personality!  Stay away from fluorescent colors as they can add color casts to faces. Chapstick, Visine, Wipes and snacks are always smart to bring on the day of the shoot. Just in case!  PinterestThe Gap, H&M, and Etsy can be quite resourceful for shopping or just for inspiration.  

  • How do you choose what images will end up in my gallery?  I carefully select and edit each image so that it best represents you or your family.

  • For Portraiture or headshot sessions is there a deposit to hold my date?  for a Portrait Session, the deposit (sitting fee) is $190. For Headshot or Personal Branding Sessions, the deposit is $100.00.  both deposits are non-refundable.

  • What is the cancellation and/or Refund Policy?  Should you need to reschedule or cancel, please give at least 24-48 hours to do so.  I do, however, retain the right to reschedule a session due to adverse weather or personal unforeseen illness. 

  • What are your travel fees, if any?  I will happily travel up to 25 miles outside of the zip-code of 27540 - beyond that, there will be a charge of .53 per mile.

  • Are you insured?  Yes!  I maintain General Liability business insurance through Nationwide Insurance Agency.
